Data from Sensor Tower offers a clear view of the platformer gaming landscape on Android devices in Europe for the first quarter of 2021. The top five platformer games have shown varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, providing insight into the gaming preferences and engagement levels of European players.
Join Clash 3D, published by Supersonic Studios LTD from Israel, experienced a peak in downloads reaching nearly 1M at the end of February, followed by a gradual decrease to approximately 520K by the end of March. Revenue showed an upward trend in February, with a notable increase to over $1K and then slightly dipped to $1.15K towards the end of March. Weekly active users peaked at over 4M in mid-February, before settling around 3.77M by the end of March.
TapNation's France-based Giant Rush! - Fighting Games saw a significant surge in downloads in early January, surpassing 800K, and then a steady decline to around 647K by the end of March. Although revenue was not its strong suit, starting from virtually zero, it did reach a modest $413 in early March before a slight decrease. The weekly active users showed a high of nearly 1.8M in early February, with a slight drop to around 1.45M at the end of the quarter.
Another title from Supersonic Studios LTD, Stacky Dash, had no reported revenue but downloads began at over 800K in late December, reaching a peak of approximately 1.39M in early January and then descended to around 391K by the end of March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at over 2.1M in the first week of January and then gradually declining to 1.49M.
Strong Pusher by VOODOO, a French publisher, showed a consistent download count, with an initial high of over 900K in mid-January, followed by a decrease to roughly 208K by the end of March. Revenue followed a similar path, starting at $109 at the end of December and ending at $67 in the last week of March. Weekly active users were at their highest of over 1.8M in late January, declining to around 682K by the end of the quarter.
VOODOO's Roof Rails also had a declining trend, with downloads starting at nearly 1M at the end of December and falling to just under 100K by the end of March. Revenue decreased as well, from $488 at the end of December to $72 in the last week of March. Weekly active users showed a similar pattern, from a high of over 2M to just 579K.
